What kinds of innovations does Computer Problem Busters have in store for the world?  Well, that’s a question we’re sure you’re asking yourself right about now.  So we’re just going to come right out and tell you.  It’s a piece of hardware called “The Copycat”.  It’s a work in progress, and no you cannot buy one yet because it’s not ready.  But here’s a brief description that answers the why and what, even if we’re not answering the when:

You know that one annoying guy who asks you if you back your computer up, how often you back it up, why you don’t back it up often enough if you even do at all?  Then he tells you about all the bad things that can happen if you don’t back it up or don’t do it frequently enough and there are a few accompanying horror stories about people who lost EVERYTHING.  Well, The Copycat is an "in your face" to that guy.

All the years we’ve been in business, working with the thousands of customers we’ve helped over the years has taught us many things, but there's one thing that really stands out.  Most people don’t understand backing up well enough to do it or even know if they’re doing it right, if at all.  People get confused when it comes to “the cloud” and think that online storage is the same thing as an online backup, or that if they buy a flash drive or external hard drive, that it will magically know what they want to back up and that plugging it in will take care of it in exactly the way they’d like.  Too often, they learn the hard way - after the fact, that things weren’t happening as they thought.

So…

We’re working on a backup so simple your grandmother could teach you how to use it.  It’s a piece of equipment that you can buy.  We don’t know where yet, we don’t know how yet, and it’s not yet for sale.  But we are perfecting it and then we will put a link in to a dedicated website.  We truly believe this is the next big thing.  Simplicity at it’s finest!
